I just finished a vest called the Schemer Slipover. I saw on someone when I was at a talk with Stephanie Pearl McPhee during Knit City. It looked beautiful on the person. It was a simple pretty that gave just enough warm on a day that was transitioning from summer to fall. I liked enough to immediately purchase the pattern & go on the hunt for yarn for it. I am working towards a wardrobe that will be long lasting, things that are a bit classic, fits my lifestyle & suits my body shape. I am trying to not be so critical of my body. I am trying to find things that layer because I over heat easily. I find that I NEED comfort first. Something will still be pretty but will be comfortable & not distracting to me.
