What does Easter mean to you? Is it the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunt, Ham dinner? Or is is that Jesus died on the cross & today is the third day & he rose from the dead? Maybe it is a bit of both? For me it is a bit of both. My family are not christians & so we has Easter eggs and and Easter meal.
I was watching the sermon today from our church today & our paster was talking about how when he say Jesus has risen, we say He has risen indeed. I find that awkward. I feel embarrassed saying that. I started thinking why. Is it because to me it does sound awkward. Is it the when I see in my mind people that don't know Jesus & don't talk that way. I am not sure why. What I know for sure is that I LOVE JESUS. He died for my sins. He rose again to save me. I find that very overwhelming but He did.
Today is a wonderful day. HE HAS RISEN!!!
